Pecan Pie Bark

Pecan Pie Bark is a delightful confection that combines the rich flavors of traditional pecan pie with the crispness of a candy bark. This treat features a base of graham crackers topped with a buttery, caramel-like pecan mixture, resulting in a sweet and crunchy indulgence perfect for holidays or any special occasion.

Ingredients:

12 graham cracker sheets

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups chopped pecans

¼ teaspoon salt

Directions:

Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with butter or non-stick spray.

Arrange Graham Crackers: Place the graham cracker sheets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, covering the entire surface. Break the crackers as needed to fit.

Prepare Pecan Mixture: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and salt, stirring continuously until the mixture comes to a boil. Allow it to boil for 2 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pecans until well combined.

Assemble Bark: Pour the hot pecan mixture evenly over the graham crackers, spreading it gently with a spatula to cover all the crackers.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until the topping is bubbly and slightly darkened.

Cool and Break: Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, break the bark into pieces of desired size.
