Description

Pecan Pie Bark is a delicious dessert that combines the flavors of traditional pecan pie with the crunch of candy bark. Featuring graham crackers, a rich butter-pecan topping, and a hint of caramel, this easy-to-make treat is perfect for holiday gifting, parties, or any special occasion. Ready in just 20 minutes, it’s a fast and indulgent way to enjoy the taste of pecan pie in a new, fun form.

Ingredients

  • 12 graham cracker sheets
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Arrange Graham Crackers: Place the graham cracker sheets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Break the crackers as needed to fit.
  • Prepare Pecan Mixture: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the brown sugar and salt, stirring continuously until the mixture comes to a boil. Let it boil for 2 minutes without stirring, then remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and chopped pecans until combined.
  • Assemble Bark: Pour the hot pecan mixture evenly over the graham crackers, using a spatula to spread it out and cover the crackers.
  • Bake: Bake for 10 minutes, or until the topping is bubbly and slightly darkened.
  • Cool and Break: Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Once cooled, break the bark into pieces.

Notes

  • Storage: Store Pecan Pie Bark in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
  • Variations: Add a sprinkle of sea salt on top after baking for an added salty-sweet flavor.
