Description

Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the filling:

  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup chopped M&M’s

For the frosting:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a small bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
    • In a large bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, melted butter, egg, and salt. Add the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  2. Knead and Rise:
    • Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  3. Prepare the Filling:
    • Mix Nutella, chopped hazelnuts, and M&M’s in a small bowl.
  4. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Roll the dough into a rectangle and spread the filling evenly. Roll it up tightly and slice into 12 pieces.
  5. Bake:
    • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place rolls in a greased dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Glaze:
    • Mix powdered sugar and milk to make a glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls and serve.
