Ingredients

  • 2 cups (480g) 4% small curd cottage cheese
  • ½ avocado
  • ⅓ cup fresh herbs (such as chives, flat-leaf parsley, and dill), plus extra for garnish
  • 1½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus extra for garnish
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  • In a food processor, combine the cottage cheese, avocado, fresh herbs, lemon juice, and olive oil.
  • Blend until the mixture is whipped and creamy, approximately 60 to 90 seconds.
  • Remove the blade and stir in the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  • Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  • Garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and chopped fresh herbs.
  • Serve with an assortment of fresh-cut vegetables and crackers.
