Cinnamon Sugar Donut Sweet Bread

A delicious and sweet treat that combines the flavors of a cinnamon sugar donut in a soft and fluffy bread form.

Ingredients:

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tablespoon baking powder

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1 cup milk

– 1/3 cup vegetable oil

– 1 large egg

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

– For the Topping:

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.

4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

7. While the bread is baking, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon for the topping.

8. When the bread is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.

9. Remove the bread from the pan and brush the melted butter over the top.

10. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered top.

11. Slice and serve warm.
