Ingredients:
1 package refrigerated biscuit dough
2 apples, peeled, cored, and diced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
In a bowl, mix the diced apples with granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well coated.
Flatten each biscuit round and place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center.
Fold the edges of the biscuit dough over the apple filling, forming a ball. Pinch the seams to seal.
Place each biscuit bomb seam-side down in the muffin tin.
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Spoon this mixture over each biscuit.
Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the bombs are golden brown.
Allow the bombs to cool slightly before removing them from the muffin tin.
Optional: Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
