Whole Orange Blender Cake

A moist, citrusy cake made with a whole orange—peel and all! Quick, easy, and bursting with fresh orange flavor.

Ingredients:

1 whole orange, washed and quartered (remove seeds)

¾ cup sugar

½ cup butter or oil

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup milk or orange juice

Instructions:

1. Preheat & Prep:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease and flour a 9-inch cake pan.

2. Blend the Wet Ingredients:

In a blender, add the whole orange (quartered), sugar, butter (or oil), eggs, and vanilla.

Blend until smooth.

3. Add Dry Ingredients:

Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the blender.

Pour in milk (or orange juice) and blend again until combined.

4. Bake:

Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let cool before slicing.
