Vanilla Cinnamon Milk Tea

A comforting and aromatic milk tea, blending the warm notes of cinnamon with smooth vanilla for a cozy, relaxing drink. Perfect for enjoying hot or iced!

Ingredients:

2 cups water

2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)

4 cinnamon sticks (or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon)

1-2 vanilla beans, split and scraped (or 2 teaspoons vanilla extract)

2 teaspoons loose-leaf black tea or 2 black tea bags

Honey or sweetener of choice, to taste

Directions:

Boil Water: In a small pot, bring the water to a boil.

Add Cinnamon & Vanilla: If using cinnamon sticks and vanilla beans, place them in the pot. Turn off the heat and cover, allowing the mixture to steep for about 10 minutes. If using ground cinnamon and vanilla extract, add directly to the water.

Add Tea: Add black tea to the pot and let it brew for 3-5 minutes for desired strength.

Heat Milk: In a separate pot or in the microwave, gently heat the milk until warm but not boiling.

Strain & Combine: Strain the cinnamon-vanilla tea mixture and pour it into the warm milk. Stir to combine.

Sweeten: Add honey or your preferred sweetener to taste.

Serve: Pour the milk tea into mugs for a hot version or chill and serve over ice for an iced treat. Garnish with a cinnamon stick if desired.
