Thai Basil Chicken

A quick and flavorful Thai-inspired dish with tender chicken and aromatic basil.

Ingredients:

– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, chopped
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
– 1 tablespoon fish sauce
– 1 tablespoon sugar
– 2 tablespoons oil
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 red chili, sliced
– 1 bell pepper, sliced
– 1 onion, sliced
– 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves

Directions:

In a bowl, marinate the chopped chicken thighs with soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar for 10 minutes.
Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add minced garlic and sliced red chili, and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the sliced bell pepper and onion, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the fresh Thai basil leaves until wilted.
Serve the Thai basil chicken hot over steamed rice.
