Ingredients

  • 1215 crisp puris (papdi)
  • 1 cup boiled and chopped potatoes
  • ½ cup finely chopped onions
  • ½ cup finely chopped tomatoes (optional)
  • 34 tbsp green chutney
  • 34 tbsp sweet tamarind chutney
  • 23 tbsp red garlic chutney (optional)
  • ½1 cup fine sev
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • Black salt, to taste
  • 23 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • Lemon or lime wedges

Instructions

  • Prepare Chutneys: Make or refrigerate green chutney, sweet tamarind chutney, and optional red garlic chutney.
  • Arrange Puris: Lay the puris on a serving plate.
  • Layer Toppings: Add boiled potatoes, chopped onions, and optional tomatoes on each puri.
  • Drizzle Chutneys: Add green, tamarind, and red chutneys as per taste.
  • Season: Sprinkle chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and black salt.
  • Top with Sev: Generously sprinkle fine sev over the puris.
  • Garnish and Serve: Add chopped coriander and a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve immediately to maintain crispness.
