Ingredients:
1 lb sausage, sliced
2 lbs green beans, trimmed and halved
4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced sausage. Once cooked, remove from the skillet and
set aside.
Using the same skillet, sauté the onions and garlic until they become translucent and fragrant.
Grease a baking dish and begin layering half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the green beans,
and then half of the browned sausage.
Repeat the layering process with the remaining potatoes, green beans, and sausage.
Evenly pour the chicken broth and heavy cream over the layered ingredients. Season with salt and
pepper to your liking.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then, remove the foil and continue baking
for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
