Reuben Bake

Hearty Reuben Bake Casserole featuring layers of rye bread, corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Thousand Island dressing baked to perfection.

Ingredients:

– 8 slices of rye bread, cubed

– 1 pound thinly sliced or shredded corned beef

– 1 can (14 ounces) sauerkraut, drained and rinsed

– 2 cups grated Swiss cheese

– 1 cup Thousand Island dressing

Directions:

1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.

2. Prepare Ingredients: Cube rye bread, shred or thinly slice corned beef, and drain and rinse sauerkraut.

3. Layer Ingredients: Start with half of rye bread, followed by corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese. Drizzle half of the dressing.

4. Repeat Layers: Repeat layering process with remaining ingredients.

5. Finish with Dressing: Drizzle remaining dressing over the top layer of cheese.

6. Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Serve: Allow to cool slightly, cut into squares, and serve hot.
