Pineapple Dream Dessert

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup granulated sugar (for crust)

2 cups powdered sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 (8 ounce) container Cool Whip, thawed

Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup melted butter, and 1/2 cup granulated sugar. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish to form a crust.

In a separate bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together 1/2 cup softened butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy. 

Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the baking dish.

Spread the drained crushed pineapple over the cream cheese layer.

Top with a layer of Cool Whip, spreading it out evenly.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set, before serving.
