Ingredients:
2 naan flatbread
2 and 1/2 cups white mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, chopped
1 small jalapeno, seeds and germs removed, minced
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper to taste
3 to 5 tbsp butter
1 tbsp honey
Spray of water for the naan bread
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C). Spray the naan bread lightly with water and pat dry.
In a skillet, melt half the butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft. Season with salt and
pepper. Stir in honey and cook until onions are caramelized. Transfer to a bowl.
In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and cook mushrooms until browned.
To assemble, spread ricotta on naan breads. Top with caramelized onions and mushrooms. Add jalapeno
and sprinkle with mozzarella.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until naan is crispy and cheese is melted.
