Lemon Butter Baked Cod

Ingredients:

2 lb cod fillet (or any white fish)

1/4 cup butter or margarine

2 Tbsp lemon juice

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

A dash of paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cut the cod fillets into serving-sized pieces.

Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave. Once melted, stir in the lemon juice.

In a separate dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.

Dip each fish fillet into the butter and lemon mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated on all sides.

Next, dip the buttered fish into the flour mixture, again making sure it’s well-coated on all sides.

Place the coated fillets in an ungreased baking dish.

Drizzle any remaining butter mixture over the fillets and sprinkle the entire dish with paprika.

Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges before serving.
