Quick and Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies for a Sweet Treat
Ingredients:
– 1 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1/2 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup white sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 egg
– 1 cup chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
Add the egg to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
