Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup black cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda

- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup black or dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, black cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until creamy. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing cookies 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
