Tender, juicy steak bites seared in garlic butter and coated in a rich Parmesan cream sauce, perfect for a quick yet indulgent meal. Serve over pasta or with crusty bread for an extra treat!
Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp (28g) butter
5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup (120ml) beef broth
1/2 cup (120ml) heavy cream
1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Season the steak bites with salt and pepper.
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
Add the steak bites and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Pour in the beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits.
Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, and let the sauce simmer until it thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Return the steak to the skillet, tossing it in the sauce to coat.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes:
You can use chicken broth for a lighter sauce.
Serve over pasta or with crusty bread for a complete meal.
