This Easy Breakfast Cheese Danish is a quick and indulgent treat made with buttery crescent rolls, a creamy cream cheese filling, and a simple glaze. Perfect for breakfast or brunch, it’s a sweet, comforting dish that everyone will love!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans ready-to-use refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white

For the glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Lay one pack of crescent rolls in the pan, pinching the seams together to form a base layer.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth and well-combined.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent rolls.
  5. Place the second pack of crescent rolls on top of the cream cheese mixture, pressing down gently.
  6. Brush the top with the egg white.
  7. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for 20 minutes.
  9. Prepare the glaze by whisking powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract together until smooth.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled Danish before serving.
