My dad absolutely loved the Crockpot Chicken & Stuffing I made. He said it reminded him of old family dinners. Definitely a recipe close to his heart.
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sour cream
1 package (6 oz) stuffing mix
1/2 cup chicken broth
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Lightly grease the inside of the crockpot.
Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot and season them with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Spread this mixture over the chicken.
In another bowl, mix the stuffing mix with the chicken broth until well combined. Spoon this stuffing mixture on top of the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve hot, ensuring the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C). Enjoy!
