Cranberry Christmas Cookies

Soft and buttery cookies filled with tart dried cranberries and sweet white chocolate chips, perfect for the holiday season and a festive treat for any cookie platter.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

3/4 cup dried cranberries

3/4 cup white chocolate chips

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Gently fold in the dried cranberries and white chocolate chips.

Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
