Ingredients
- 1 cinnamon stick (or 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice (optional)
- 1 slice fresh ginger (optional)
Instructions
- Place the cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon) and ginger slice (if using) into a heatproof mug.
- Pour the boiling water over the cinnamon and let it steep for 5-7 minutes. If using ground cinnamon, stir well to avoid settling.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and ginger slice.
- Stir in honey and lemon juice if desired.
- Sip slowly while warm to soothe your throat.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness with more or less honey as desired.
- For a stronger tea, let the cinnamon steep longer or use two sticks.
