Instructions

  • Make the Dough:

  • Shape and Chill:
    • Divide dough into two logs (2 inches in diameter), wrap in plastic, and chill for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice and Bake:
    • Slice dough into 1/4-inch rounds.
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
    • Cool cookies for 5 minutes on the sheet, then transfer to a rack.
  • Make the Orange Glaze:
    • Whisk powdered sugar, orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Glaze the Cookies:
    • Drizzle or spread glaze on cooled cookies. Let glaze set before serving.
