Butterfinger Balls

These Butterfinger Balls are a rich, chocolatey treat with a creamy peanut butter center, loaded with crushed Butterfinger pieces and dipped in smooth chocolate. Perfect for parties or gifting, these bite-sized delights are a guaranteed hit!

Ingredients:

2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 16 fun-sized bars)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 tablespoon vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother dipping)

Optional: Butterfinger or chocolate sprinkles for decoration

Directions:

Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and crushed Butterfinger candy until well mixed. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Chill: Refrigerate the Butterfinger balls for 30 minutes to firm them up for easier dipping.

Melt Chocolate: While the balls are chilling, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips (and vegetable shortening if using) in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

Dip the Balls: Remove the chilled Butterfinger balls from the refrigerator and dip each one into the melted chocolate, covering completely. Place the dipped balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Decorate & Set: Immediately add sprinkles if desired, then allow the chocolate to set completely at room temperature, or refrigerate for faster setting.

Serve: Enjoy these Butterfinger Balls immediately or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
