Ingredients:
2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups crushed graham crackers
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons shortening
Additional crushed Butterfinger candy bars for garnish (optional)
Directions:
Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars, 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter, 2 cups crushed graham crackers, 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter, and 2 cups powdered sugar. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
Form the Balls: Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into 1-inch balls. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Chill: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and let the balls chill for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare Chocolate Coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons shortening. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate and shortening are melted and smooth.
Dip the Balls: Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Garnish (Optional): If desired, sprinkle additional crushed Butterfinger candy bars over the balls while the chocolate is still wet.
Let Set: Allow the chocolate to set completely, either at room temperature or in the refrigerator, before serving.
