Description

This sprouted grain bread offers a wholesome, nutrient-rich, and flavorful alternative to traditional bread. Made with sprouted whole wheat flour, this easy bread machine recipe creates the perfect loaf for sandwiches, toast, or enjoying fresh out of the oven.

 


Ingredients

  • 4 cups sprouted whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons coconut palm sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons yeast

Instructions

  • Add warm water to the bread machine pan.
  • Pour olive oil and coconut palm sugar into the water.
  • Gently add sprouted whole wheat flour to cover the liquid.
  • Place salt in one corner, avoiding direct contact with the yeast.
  • Make a small well in the center of the flour and add the yeast.
  • Select the whole wheat setting, choose the desired crust color, and start the bread machine.
  • Once baking is complete, remove the loaf from the pan and allow it to cool on a wire rack before slicing.

Notes

  • For a softer crust, brush with butter immediately after baking.
  • To add variety, include seeds, nuts, or dried fruit during the kneading cycle.
  • Replace coconut palm sugar with honey or maple syrup for a different flavor.
