– 2 1/2 cups milk

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and crumbled. Do not drain the grease.

3. Sprinkle the flour over the cooked sausage, stirring well to coat, and cook for 1-2 minutes.

4. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly, and bring the mixture to a simmer until the gravy thickens. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and add garlic and onion powder if desired.
