1 lb breakfast sausage
6 biscuits, baked and cut into quarters
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 large eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease.
In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the baked and quartered biscuits, cooked sausage, and shredded cheddar cheese.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Pour the egg mixture evenly over the biscuit, sausage, and cheese layers.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
Once done, remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh chives for garnish, and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
