Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
1 tsp baking soda 🍰
1/2 tsp salt 🧂
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 🧈
1 cup sugar 🧂
2 large eggs 🥚
1 tsp vanilla extract 🍨
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas (about 3 ripe bananas) 🍌
1/4 cup sour cream 🥛
Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 🌰 or 1/2 cup chocolate chips 🍫
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition, then mix in vanilla extract.
Mix in mashed bananas and sour cream until combined.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
