Ingredients
For the Donuts:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda

- ½ cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
- ½ cup whole milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp fresh strawberry puree (blended fresh strawberries)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Fresh strawberry slices or sprinkles for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a donut pan with non-stick spray or butter.
- Prepare the Donut Batter
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix chopped strawberries, milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fill the Donut Pan
- Spoon batter into a piping bag or plastic bag with the tip cut off.
- Pipe batter into the pan, filling each cavity about ⅔ full.
- Bake the Donuts
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool donuts in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Prepare the Glaze
- In a medium bowl, whisk powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Adjust thickness with additional puree or powdered sugar as needed.
- Glaze the Donuts
- Dip the tops of each cooled donut into the glaze and place on a wire rack to set.
- Garnish with fresh strawberry slices or sprinkles, if desired
