Fluffernutter Rice Krispie Treats

A delightful combination of gooey marshmallow, creamy peanut butter, and crispy rice cereal for an irresistible twist on the classic treat.

Ingredients:

6 cups crispy rice cereal

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 (10-ounce) bag mini marshmallows

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup mini marshmallows (optional, for topping)

1/4 cup peanut butter drizzle or melted peanut butter (optional, for topping)

Directions:

Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray and set aside.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.

Stir in the peanut butter until fully incorporated. Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract.

Quickly pour the marshmallow-peanut butter mixture over the crispy rice cereal in a large mixing bowl. Stir until the cereal is evenly coated.

Press the mixture into the prepared baking dish, using a greased spatula or wax paper to smooth the top.

If desired, sprinkle additional mini marshmallows on top and lightly press them into the surface.

Drizzle with melted peanut butter or peanut butter drizzle for extra flavor.

Allow the treats to cool and set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Slice into squares and serve!
