Snowball Cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup powdered sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts

Extra powdered sugar for rolling

Directions:

Preheat the oven:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Make the dough:

Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar. Add vanilla extract, followed by the flour and chopped nuts. Mix until combined.

Shape and bake:

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the bottoms are lightly golden.

Roll in sugar:

Allow the cookies to cool slightly, then roll them in powdered sugar while still warm. Let them cool completely and roll again in powdered sugar for a thick coating.
