Ingredients:
4 cod fillets (about 6 oz each)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons lemon zest
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon slices, for garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and place them in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Pour the lemon butter mixture evenly over the cod fillets.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the cod flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and lemon slices before serving.
