Deliciously Grilled Chicken Skewers with Vibrant Vietnamese Flavors

Ingredients:

– 1.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
– 3 stalks lemongrass, white parts only, minced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon fish sauce
– 2 tablespoons honey
– 1 tablespoon sesame oil
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
– Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Directions:

In a bowl, combine minced lemongrass, garlic, soy sauce, fish sauce, honey, sesame oil, vegetable oil, and black pepper.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well, ensuring each piece is coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked skewers.
Grill the chicken skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked through and slightly charred.
Serve the Vietnamese lemongrass chicken skewers hot with a side of rice or salad.
