Oven-Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey

Oven-Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey—crispy on the outside with a savory, creamy filling and a sweet and spicy drizzle! 🧀🌶🍯

Ingredients:

For the Feta Rolls:

8 oz block of feta cheese, crumbled

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 package (8 oz) phyllo dough, thawed

1/4 cup butter, melted

1/4 cup olive oil (for brushing)

For the Chili Honey Sauce:

1/4 cup honey

1 tbsp chili flakes (or to taste)

1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the feta filling: In a medium bowl, mix together the crumbled feta cheese, cream cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well-combined.

Prepare the phyllo dough: Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush it lightly with melted butter. Place another sheet on top and brush with butter again. Repeat until you have 4 layers.

Fill the rolls: Spoon a small amount of the feta mixture along the edge of the phyllo dough. Carefully roll the dough into a tight log, folding in the sides as you go. Brush the edges with more butter to seal.

Bake the rolls: Place the feta rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top of each roll with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Make the chili honey sauce: In a small saucepan, combine honey, chili flakes, and lemon juice. Heat over low heat until warm and the chili flakes have infused the honey.

Serve: Drizzle the warm chili honey sauce over the crispy feta rolls before serving.

Enjoy these Oven-Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey as an appetizer or snack—sweet, savory, and spicy all in one bite! 😋
