Ingredients:
1 ½ lbs ground chicken
½ cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup marinara sauce, divided
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a loaf pan.
Mix the Ingredients:
In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, basil, onion powder, black pepper, and ½ cup of marinara sauce.
Mix until just combined (don’t overmix to keep it tender).
Shape the Meatloaf:
