1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Icing sugar (optional, for dusting)
Decorative sprinkles or mini chocolate chips (optional, for eyes)
🔥 Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar:
In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together.
Cut and Shape the Twists:
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
Brush the entire surface with melted butter.
Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the pastry.
Cut the pastry into 1-inch (2.5 cm) wide strips.
To form bunny shapes:
Twist each strip and shape it into a figure-eight (to look like bunny ears and a body).
Pinch the center to secure the shape.
Bake the Bunny Twists:
Place the bunny twists on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
Finishing Touches:
Let the bunny twists cool slightly.
Dust with icing sugar for a sweet finish.
Add mini chocolate chips or sprinkles for eyes if desired.
