Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips, crushed candy canes, and white chocolate chips.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden and centers are set.
  9. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with snowflake sprinkles.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra peppermint flavor, add ½ teaspoon of peppermint extract.
  • To prevent spreading, chill the dough for 20 minutes before baking.
  • Make them festive by drizzling with melted white or dark chocolate.
  • For gluten-free cookies, use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend.
