Description

Truffle Deviled Eggs offer an elegant twist on the classic appetizer, infused with the rich, earthy flavor of truffle oil. These creamy, luxurious bites are perfect for gourmet gatherings, adding sophistication to any occasion. Garnished with truffle salt, black pepper, and fresh chives, they’re sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients

  • 6 large hard-boiled eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (or as needed)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon truffle oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon truffle salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon minced chives
  • 12 pieces shaved truffles (optional)

Instructions

  • Halve the hard-boiled eggs lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a bowl; set the egg whites aside.
  • Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, truffle oil, truffle salt, and black pepper to the yolks. Mix until smooth and creamy. Add extra mayonnaise if needed for a looser consistency.
  • Transfer the yolk mixture into a resealable bag, snip off a corner, and pipe the mixture into the egg whites.
  • Garnish with minced chives and shaved truffles, if desired.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Truffle oil is key to this recipe’s unique flavor, but if unavailable, you can substitute it with a few extra drops of truffle-infused olive oil or a mix of regular oil and truffle salt.
