Ingredients

- ½ cup granulated sugar

- ½ cup strawberry purée (from the strawberry base)
Instructions
Prepare the Strawberry Base:

- Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes to macerate and release natural juices.
Make the Strawberry Purée:
- Blend the macerated strawberries until smooth.
- Measure ½ cup of purée for the ice cream base and set aside.
Prepare the Ice Cream Base:
- In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until sugar dissolves.
Combine & Churn:
- Stir in ½ cup of strawberry purée and mix well.
