Description

Spicy Ginger Chicken Delight is a flavorful dish with tender chicken strips coated in a zesty, soy-based sauce with fresh ginger, garlic, and a spicy twist. It’s quick, easy to make, and perfect for those who love bold flavors.

Ingredients

4 boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

3 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, chili flakes, sesame oil, and black pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the grated ginger and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  4. Add the chicken strips and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  5. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the cooked chicken, stirring well to coat. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili flakes or hot sauce.

For a sweeter twist, swap the honey for maple syrup.

Boneless thighs can be used instead of chicken breasts for a richer flavor.

Serve the dish over steamed rice or with sautéed vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli for a complete meal.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

This dish can be reheated in the microwave or on the stovetop with a splash of water or extra soy sauce to prevent the sauce from thickening too much.
