Ingredients

- 1 cup brown sugar

- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- ¼ cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Peel, core, and slice the apples into wedges.
- In a slow cooker, combine the apples, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
- Cut the butter into small pieces and scatter it over the apples.
- Cover and cook on low for about 3-4 hours or until the apples are tender.
- Mix the cornstarch with water to create a slurry and stir it into the slow cooker.
