A quick, easy, and customizable recipe that’s a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

For the Biscuits:

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced roast beef (deli-style)
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup prepared horseradish sauce or Dijon mustard (optional)

For the Au Jus:

  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Assemble Biscuits: Flatten each biscuit dough piece. Add a slice of roast beef, a sprinkle of cheese, and a dollop of sauce (optional). Fold the dough around the filling, pinching to seal. Place seam-side down.
  • Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Prepare Au Jus: In a saucepan, combine beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat until warm.
  • Serve: Serve warm biscuits with au jus for dipping.

Notes

  • Substitute cheese or sauce to match your taste preferences.
  • Add caramelized onions or mushrooms for a flavor boost.
  • For a spicy kick, include red pepper flakes or hot sauce in the filling.
