Description

This Reese’s Peanut Butter Banana Bread blends the rich flavors of peanut butter, ripe bananas, and chocolate, topped off with Reese’s Pieces or mini Reese’s cups. It’s a moist, indulgent treat perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a snack. If you love peanut butter and banana combos, this twist on classic banana bread will quickly become a family favorite.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Reese’s Pieces or mini Reese’s cups, chopped
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, peanut butter, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
  • Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Fold in Reese’s Pieces or mini Reese’s cups and chocolate chips.
  • Pour batter into prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Overripe bananas are best for maximum sweetness.
  • Use natural peanut butter, but ensure it’s smooth for the best consistency.
  • For a gluten-free version, swap in a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend.
  • Add chopped nuts like walnuts for extra crunch.
