- 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces or mini Reese’s cups, chopped
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix mashed bananas, peanut butter, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- Gradually fold in dry ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Fold in Reese’s Pieces or mini Reese’s cups and chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- Overripe bananas are best for maximum sweetness.
- Use natural peanut butter, but ensure it’s smooth for the best consistency.
- For a gluten-free version, swap in a gluten-free all-purpose flour blend.
- Add chopped nuts like walnuts for extra crunch.
