Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced (white and green parts separated)
- 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha hot sauce (optional)
- 3 cups sliced bok choy
- 16 frozen potstickers (any filling of choice)
- 2 tablespoons miso paste
- Chili crisp (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Sauté Aromatics: Heat sesame oil in a large soup pot over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger, and white parts of green onions. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Prepare the Broth: Pour in the broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil, and Sriracha if using.
- Cook Vegetables & Potstickers: Add sliced bok choy and frozen potstickers. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Incorporate Miso Paste: Dissolve miso paste in ½ cup of hot broth in a separate bowl, then stir it back into the soup.
- Serve: Turn off the heat and mix in the green parts of the green onions. Ladle into bowls and garnish with chili crisp if desired.

- For extra protein, add shredded chicken or sautéed shrimp.
