Description
Peanut Butter Fritos Candy is a no-bake treat that combines the salty crunch of Fritos, creamy peanut butter, and smooth chocolate. It’s a quick, easy, and indulgent dessert perfect for satisfying sweet and salty cravings.
Ingredients
2 cups Fritos corn chips
1 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for smooth chocolate coating)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter and honey (or maple syrup) and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Pour the Fritos into a large bowl and drizzle the peanut butter mixture over them. Gently stir to coat all the Fritos evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter-coated Fritos onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading them in a single layer.
- Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in a small bowl in the microwave, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the peanut butter-coated Fritos.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate sets. Break into chunks and enjoy!
Notes
For added flavor, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top.
If you don’t have Fritos, substitute with pretzels or other crunchy chips.
For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter or another nut-free alternative.
If craving more chocolate, dip the peanut butter Fritos into melted chocolate instead of drizzling.
