Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper or foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
  2. Boil the Mixture: In a medium saucepan, combine evaporated milk, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Simmer: Once boiling, cook for 4–5 minutes while continuing to stir. Remove from heat.
  4. Add Ingredients: Stir in mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  5. Fold in Pecans: Gently fold in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
  6. Set the Fudge: Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
  7. Cool: Let the fudge cool at room temperature for about 2 hours or refrigerate until firm.
  8. Slice: Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper or foil overhang. Cut into squares.

Notes

  • Nut Variations: Swap pecans for walnuts, almonds, or other nuts for a different twist.
  • Chocolate Twist: Try using milk chocolate or white chocolate chips for a different flavor.
  • Marshmallow Substitution: Use marshmallow cream (7 oz) for a smoother texture.
