  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Maple syrup and powdered sugar for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the Bread: Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Add bread cubes evenly.
  • Add Bananas: Layer sliced bananas over the bread cubes.
  • Make Custard: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
