Description

This creamy and tangy Orange Dreamsicle Fudge recipe is a delightful blend of orange and cream flavors that melts in your mouth. Easy to make and perfect for parties or gifting, this fudge is a nostalgic treat for any season.

Ingredients

  • Baking & Spices:
    • 10 drops orange food coloring
    • 3 cups granulated sugar
    • 3 teaspoons orange extract
    • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • Dairy:
    • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
    • 2/3 cup heavy cream
    • 7 ounces marshmallow cream (or fluff)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Pan:
Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease lightly. Set aside.
  • Make the Fudge Base:
In a medium saucepan, combine butter, granulated sugar, and heavy cream. Heat over medium, stirring until the butter melts and sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add Marshmallow Cream and Flavoring:
Remove from heat and stir in marshmallow cream, orange extract, and food coloring until smooth.
  • Incorporate White Chocolate:
Stir in white chocolate chips until melted and creamy.
  • Pour and Set:
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and tap to release air bubbles. Let cool at room temperature for 1 hour, then refrigerate for 2–3 hours until firm.
  • Slice and Serve:
    Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure sugar is fully dissolved to avoid grainy texture.
  • For a swirl effect, reserve some uncolored mixture and swirl it on top before setting.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
