Ingredients
- Cookies:
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Cocoa Drizzle:
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Prepare the Oats: Line your work surface with parchment paper and place the oats in a large mixing bowl.
- Make the Cookie Base: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in sugar and milk, then bring to a boil. Once bubbling, let it boil for 1 minute before removing from heat.
- Combine with Peanut Butter: Stir peanut butter and vanilla into the hot mixture until fully melted and combined. Pour over oats and mix gently.
- Form Cookies: Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto parchment paper.
- Prepare Cocoa Drizzle: Mix powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk in a bowl until smooth. Transfer to a bag, snip the corner, and drizzle over cookies.
- Set and Store: Allow cookies to cool and set completely. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.

- For a firmer texture, chill cookies in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes.
